Lactose Intolerance

Lactose Intolerance

I get a lot questions about lactose intolerance and goat milk. If you’ve recently been diagnosed with lactose intolerance and you’re looking for dairy alternatives, the fats in goat milk are easier to digest. Plus, most of the lactose is eaten by the cheese culture in the first 90 days of the cheesemaking process.

That doesn’t always mean you won’t have problems with digestion, so I suggest trying aged goat cheeses in small amounts.
